We’ve had the pleasure of working with Destination Campbell River since 2019 supporting digital marketing efforts with seasonal ad campaigns, landing pages, design, copywriting, and much more. When they came to us to overhaul their website, we were honoured and excited for the challenge.
With many stakeholders and an entire region to serve, this project required all hands on deck. This was a full team effort with special mentions to Duncan, Dale, and Liz who meticulously oversaw, designed, and coded this site to ensure it met the unique needs of locals and visitors alike.
Project Highlights Include:
Custom Design & Development: Crafting a website that speaks to an entire region demanded a high level of customization and a commitment to a sleek visual design.
Scalability: Our team designed a robust architecture that could effortlessly handle the high volume of visitors and content updates, ensuring the beefy site remains responsive and speedy.
User Experience: Crafting an intuitive and visually appealing website was paramount. We ensured that every click, scroll, and interaction within the site is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
SEO Opportunities: A high-traffic website like this requires an adept use of search engine optimization, ensuring that the site ranks at the top of searches, attracting travellers from around the globe.
Content Management: Our content management system is both robust and user-friendly, enabling stakeholders and administrators to effortlessly update their information and offerings.
Interactive Features: We built a responsive quiz to help visitors quickly find relevant content for planning their trip. Additionally, event listings were revamped to provide ease of updating and showcasing images for local events.
We are so proud of our team for seamlessly blending design and back-end development resulting in an intuitive, user-friendly, and visually captivating platform that showcases the beauty and diversity of Campbell River.

As a remote team, we acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territories of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial. Our home office is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ people, the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations. Our team’s diverse origins as Settlers mean that our individual paths towards reconciliation are guided with both local and global truths about colonization and its ongoing ramifications for Indigenous Peoples everywhere. As we celebrate the diversities that surround us, we continue to educate ourselves and look at how we can contribute to a more equitable future for all.
