We’ve worked with the City of Campbell River across a wide range of initiatives, supporting their Economic Development team through branding, digital experiences, and campaign execution that connect meaningfully with the local business community.

One of these projects was the launch of Modern Entrepreneur at the 50th Parallel, a new initiative designed to support entrepreneurs through podcasts, speakers, and workshops. We collaborated closely with the team to develop the brand identity, including logo concepts, sub-branding, a comprehensive brand guide, and print collateral for in-person events.

We also designed and built the TECHatchery website, a central hub for entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners seeking resources in Campbell River. The site brings together events, workshops, partnerships, grant information, and podcast content, with improved blog and filtering functionality to make information easy to find and maintain long-term. Historic event content was migrated to ensure valuable recordings remained accessible.

It's Time For Downtown Campaign | City of Campbell River

In 2024, the City engaged Boleyn Media to produce and manage a downtown activation campaign promoting City-led initiatives. Running from July through September, the campaign encouraged residents to engage with, take pride in, and enjoy downtown and its events. Our work spanned in-person activations, organic and paid social, and the design and management of a campaign landing page built on the Granicus platform. Creative included an interactive Jeopardy-style game used by City staff at live events, alongside the development and refinement of campaign copy across all channels.

Additional projects with the City over the years have included designing sector profiles, annual reports, and Shop Local boxes, and the creation of the NexStream website.
